Jul 21-25 - Vacation Bible School

Hold these dates: Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25 for Vacation Bible School here at the church.  “God's Big Backyard” is coming to us this summer.  God needs a crew of adults and older teens who enjoy having a good time with children ages 4 and up.  VBS Registration will take place in June. Questions, call the office at 696-2353.

Jul 23 - Annual Ice Cream Social and talent contest

The Annual Ice Cream Social and Talent contest will start at 6:30 pm, this Thursday, July 23rd. Mark your calendars and brush up on your talent! Can you sing, tap dance, act, or otherwise entertain us? Whatever your talent, we need you to make this event a success. The sign-up sheet is on the easel in the lobby.

Aug 1-2 - Garage Sale

Friday - Saturday - 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Donate items or shop at the garage sale.  You may bring your small donations for the sale to the Jr./Sr. High Sunday School rooms (across from the FLC downstairs). If you have large items you may drop them off in the Family Life Center beginning on the afternoon of July 25 (after VBS ends). Please label your contributions "for garage sale".

We do need volunteers to set up the night before and/or work a shift or two on either day. You may also donate baked goods for a bake sale. Sign up in the back of the sanctuary.

Aug 2 - 17th Annual Walk for Seniors

Chugiak Senior Center will hold its 17th Annual Walk for Seniors on Saturday, August 2, 2008. There will also be a Car Show and a Flea Market. The proceeds raised by the Walk will go to fund the Good Samaritan Fund, which helps seniors who need assistance with groceries, rent, home heating, medicine, or gas for transportation to medical appointments.

All money raised with go to the provision of services and programs that benefit seniors and physically frail adults. For more information, call Gail Burger, Senior Center Development Director, 688-2608.
