“God’s Big Backyard” - Vacation Bible School Summer 2008
It’s snowing….a lot!!! Some of us have changed to our summer tires. We’re shoveling again. It’s the end of April but winter is not giving up. You may not be able to change the weather, but you can start thinking Summer and Vacation Bible School.
The dates this year are Monday July 21 through Friday July 25, 9 a.m. to noon. A light snack will be served. As always there will be games, crafts, storytelling, and worship. The children will take part in a mission project.
Please prayerfully consider offering your time and talents to make this important event a reality. There will be opportunities to create the decorations, collect the materials, teach the children, lead the singing, provide the snack and last, but not least, clean up.
The materials are here. Contact the church office, 696-2353 if you want to have an exciting and rewarding experience with our young people. All volunteers who work with the children will need a background check arranged by the church.
