Love INC
Love INC, Love In the Name of Christ, is a ministry made up of Christian volunteers working together for our Eagle River and Chugiak neighbors in need. Volunteers from local churches come together during scheduled times to receive calls from neighbors in our community, pray with neighbors, assess their needs, refer neighbors to agencies, church ministries and volunteers. Love INC is rich in resources, ideas and spirited volunteers who can be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors.
Here are some current needs of our Neighbors in Need:
Pray for a baby equipment ministry which needs donations. Please call Denise at 688-8877 to donate baby clothing and equipment.
We are looking for volunteers with auto repair skills to investigate some auto problems of our neighbors in need.
Praise God for the many donations made for the Skyline fire victims. Pray for them to find a new home soon. (8061301)
Praise God that a father-to-be has gotten a new job, and the mother-to-be is finding Christ in her life. (8052803)
Pray for a National Guard family's finances and the father's healing after he developed a medical problem in Iraq, and is now unable to work. (8062501)
Do you like to help and encourage people? Are you available on some Wednesdays or Thursdays between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.? Then pray about serving through Love INC as an Intake Volunteer.
