HABITAT for HUMANITY needs YOU!
Join the fun and fellowship of contributing to the betterment of
another family's life. Volunteer one day or even half a day.
The Missions Committee is committed to organizing a group of people from
our church one Saturday per month to volunteer at Habitat, but you can
go anytime it works into your schedule. Ask a friend to join you.
Here are some helpful steps:
1. Sign up on the sheet for a particular Saturday,
providing us with your phone #. (Check out the bulletin board
downstairs by nursery.)
2. Pick up (or download from the website) the Release and
Waiver or Liability Form and fill it out. There is a different form
for minors (ages 17 and under). Please read through this
carefully.
On the day of work:
1. Wear work clothes and shoes. Dress in
layers. Gloves are helpful too.
2. Meet at the church @ 7:30 A.M. so we can
carpool in to Anchorage . We will be on the worksite from 8:30 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m.
3. Bring your completed Liability Form (if you
are a 1st time volunteer). You will not be able to work
without it! If you have already turned one in, you are good to
go.
4. Lunch is provided on Saturdays.
Our next Saturday work day is July 12.
If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Call Leha
Uehling.
